Beyond Method #2

Well, clearly NetVibes is the better option for libraries, since I don't think iGoogle can be used publicly? I've been using iGoogle personally for several years though I recently did sit in on a presentation on NetVibes. I have little tolerance for having to create new accounts/passwords so I think I'll just stick w/iGoogle for the time being; I see no reason to change over presently when iGoogle still satisfies my needs. (Though I am still tweaking my personal iGoogle page, switching things around, adding new tabs, etc.)

I also recently was forced to create a MyYahoo page and that seems to be working out fine. I like it b/c I can see the Facebook, Twitter, and my Gmail previews right there. I also added News, weather, travel, and a couple of other things. I still use my Yahoo email primarily and got it so many years ago that I have a "good" Yahoo email so I will continue to use Yahoo as my #1 default personalized page for awhile, I'm sure--though I do use my #2 default iGoogle page for the calendar, documents, reader, and blogger daily as well!

First Post of This Blog

I am not new to blogging and in fact, currently operate 2 (personal) blogs and have operated 2 (work-related) others in the past. I've used Blogger and WordPress to create blogs. This blog is for the Beyond Two Stepping training from the Texas State Library. I look forward to completing the training and getting the CE's! :)
